My first vibes were Gatsby vibes. The era of the 20s is very glitzy and elegant and I think the book portrays just that. However, I do LOVE the element of LGBTQ+ in this story. I think it very much highlights what we don't know already about a time full of mystery. I would buy this book maybe not for myself but for someone who likes to read this. As do I but this book is too important not to share. I really liked the cover and thought it was clever.
