I am obsessed with the premise of this book. As a Navy Veteran, getting to see the historical aspect of it from the 50's, as well as the very real stigmas and underlying issues that were happening from the queer perspective in the military at the time, was fascinating. The beginning of this book was extremely strong. I felt the palpable connection between Andy and James and was pulled along on their whirlwind mystery. Cannot wait to read more.
