I love a good 40s/50s noir crime drama. This one had the interesting twist of having a gay man as the private eye. I think this different angle provides a unique perspective of the era. Andy seems like a good guy, and in less than 30 pages, I want to see him get together with Gene and I want to hurt Jim for hurting Andy
