I really liked Lavender House so am thrilled that there is a sequel. Andy is a complicated character and it'll be interesting to see how he fares as a PI. I found the historical setting of 1950s San Francisco interesting. It shows awful it was for LGBTQ+ people, how much has changed and how much sadly hasn't. I'm eagerly anticipating reading The Bell in the Fog.
