I didn't know I needed a vampire book but after reading the Firts Inpression chapters I am ready to welcome them back in my life.
As I said, I've only ready the first 50 pages but am already hooked! Being in New Orleans with vampires does remind me of The Originals (TV show), which makes me even more excited to continue this book.
I'm intrigued by the characters, their background stories and what will happen when they finally cross paths. I am secretly hoping that there'll be witches at some point, too. We're in New Orleans after all, we need some magic happening.
I really enjoyed the writing and how each character had their own way of expressing themselves, making me do a Scottish accent (for example) in my head while reading.
I'm definitely buying this book and will give it a full review once I'm done.
