I love everything about France and this book has so many French elements much as the dates to the French entry at the beginnings. Firstly, I liked the friendship between the two girls it felt very real from even the first pages. I really enjoyed the word choice as well it was very descriptive on how she feels and what is happening around her. I think so far my favorite character was Pippa. she seems so far more open and okay compared to Celine as we don't know what happened to her. she is very nervous about an event that happened in the past she keeps mentioning. something that is making it a little difficult for me to read fluently is that some of the sentences are short and some don't seem finished other than that I really have enjoyed it so far.
