I am saddened to say that I did not indeed like this book. I loved the Wrath and and Dawn doulogy and thought that I'd love this series too. But if I'm being honest, I wasn't a fan of the insta love at all and the story didn't capture me enough for me to continue on with the series.
Regardless, I think Renée's writing is really beautiful and her description of food is always immaculate. Renee never misses when it comes to being descriptive with details, places, clothings and especially the food. That's one think that I really like about her writing.
I liked that the characters were from diverse backgrounds and had personalities of their own. My favorite character might be Arjun... However, I did not actully like Celine because to me she seemed a bit too focused on Sebastian and how brooding and beautiful he is. I did not like that she was practically infatuated with him.
