The very first page tells you that this is going to be a vampire novel which i like. The
writing feels as though you were taken back in time. Their is this sense that the
author is hinting that something is going to happen, just keep reading. "Celine had
laughed at this. As she’d dared to hope. Perhaps New Orleans was not what it
seemed, at first glance. Fittingly, neither was she." Love this foreshadowing!
