Renée Ahdieh is one of my all time favorites authors! Her stories, such as, The Wrath and the Dawn, full of mystery and excitement , bring me to a magical place I would love to stay in forever. when I first saw this book, "The Beautiful", , it immediately caught my eye. The books main character, seventeen-year-old, Celine Rousseau, is an independent girl, placed in a time where girls are meant to be dependent (on husbands)
