This book was SUCH a let down..... nothing really happened throughout the entire book.... some people died and that's about it. There was speculation of vampires but never once proof. I quit when I had 50 pages left. Such an uninteresting bland story. (My opinion) I just wasn't impressed. Throughout nothing strikes me as vampires of any sort. It just seemed like some blood thirsty, creepy monster follows her. The way the crime scenes are described it sounds like they're describing more of a rabid animal than a vampire. It fell short of any expectations. The romance is just not there. I'm so sad... I had such HIGH expectations. This book was wildly underwhelming.....I am a huge vampire fanatic and this was one of the worst "vampire novels" I had heard so many great things but I can tell you there were only about five things that happened the entire book and not one is an ACTUAL vampire mentioned not seen and not even really eluded to...
