So far I am really liking this book. I love the way the author describes New Orleans, I feel as if I am there. I already have a feeling of the darkness/ sinister secrets that are lurking around every corner in the city. Celine seems like a very likeable character that has some secrets to hide. I really like how the author switches perspectives to the "bad guy" without really revealing his true identity. It gives the reader a nice look into his head and what his feelings are. Switching to his perspective every so often really adds to the mystery and darkness to the book. I do feel that the plot is moving a bit slow. It seems like it takes a while to get to the point. Overall I am really excited to read the rest of this book when it is released!
