I won this book from BookishFirst. Huge thanks to them for sending me this ARC! I did not realize how much I missed vampires in YA books. The vampires in The Beautiful were dark and terrifying. They are exactly what vampires are meant to be. The characters were well developed and entertaining. I loved Celine and she had such an interesting and heartbreaking backstory. I loved the romance that was thrown in and how you really couldn't trust anyone, even the characters that you loved. The plot was intriguing and it kept me on the tip of my toes the entire time. The setting and time period of this book added so much more to the story. I highly recommend this book. It will be released October 8th, 2019. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
