This book was seriously everything I wanted it to be.
I couldn't have been more thrilled with how the story started off (slow paced) but then hit you where it hurts!!
Vampires, Blood, anything in that genre relation, I'm in.
This was a great story of Vampires in New Orleans (NOLA).
It really showcases the different dynamic's they go through as an immortal.
I find it quite interesting, the different ways they put together all type of versions of vampires, which leaves you to believe in whichever one makes the most sense to you.
As far as vampires "sucking your blood" this was anything but that.
This was a great story of ancient myths that defy all odds against the immortals...
