There is something so mystical and magical about New Orleans that makes it lend itself so deliciously to a vampire story. Going into this First Look, I knew it was going to be a fun book. The prologue is masterfully done; I wanted to tear into the rest of the book right away. I love the writing. Short, choppy sentences, interspersed with long, descriptive paragraphs always keep the reader interested. I hope I win this book. I'm not into the cover. It does nothing for me.
