The cover of this book is awesome. It looks like an inverted flower, red perhaps spilling out. Perhaps there are hidden thorns? I want to read more because of the era of takes place in. I hope the heroine shows a bit moxie, but I imagine she does as she travels from Paris to me Orleans, a great gothic city.
