Renée Ahdieh’s writing is beautiful as ever

I adore Renee Ahdieh’s writing in every book she publishes, and I’m terribly excited for this one. The prose has just a hint of the hauntingly beautiful to it, even in this short excerpt. I also love that it’s historical fantasy. Ahdieh has a tendency to show me periods of history and places that I know nothing about, and imbue them with magic to make them sparkle. Can’t wait to read this one!
