I was taken in first by the premise. I've found that vampires and New Orleans (or really any supernatural creature and New Orleans) are usually a great mix. I also loved the very first line, "New Orleans is a city ruled by the dead." Pippa and Celine stand out from their introduction. I would definitely be interested in reading further.
