What I truly loved about this first little read of this book is that it is set in New Orleans, anything set there with some magic involved and I'm hooked. Though I love the mystery behind Celine's character and how the point of view flips between her and the 'demon' as I'm calling him for now.
It's that mystery of both Celine and the 'demon' that is making me want to read more. I want to know what entails her past and her plans to come in her future. As well as where the killings will lead, as well as what will happen when she goes to see Odette. I feel she has a lot to do with this demon chap!
The cover was what initlaly drew me in, but then after reading the blurb, I definitely had to give it a go! I truly think this is going to be an amazing book, and I've never been let down by Renée's stories in the past!
