I was entranced from the very beginning. The author did such a good job writing a New Orleans atmosphere. I can already tell that the main character Celine is going to be someone that I'm going to root for. She has secrets from her past that I can't wait to find out and her sarcasm is a delight to read about.
I also can't wait for more background on our villain. Does he have any humanity? Will he be caught? All these questions make me so excited to read this book upon its release.
