The POV shifts are very interesting! Demons hunting in 1870s New Orleans, a seedy underworld, a protagonist with a dodgy past... it definitely is an intriguing premise. I don't generally care for romantic novels, but I am glad they gave the heroine more gumption than many.
The cover has an unfortunate resemblance to many other recent YA novels (... Twilight for sure comes to mind) but it fits the novel.
