First off, the cover is beautiful. This is exactly the kind of book I'd pick up and read if I saw it sitting on a shelf in a bookstore. Even from the description of the book before I read the first look I had a feeling I'd be into it.
I love that the first few chapters create such an air of mystery and intrigue. Just a couple pages in I was already asking questions about the main character and couldn't wait to learn more about her. So far, Celine is such a likeable character. She had me at "Turn her back on a pain au chocolat? Sacrilege."
There is so much I want to know about Celine (and also Pippa!) and I just can't wait to find out what the "many sins" she's committed are. After reading this first look I'm also a bit tempted to make myself a hankerchief that says GTTAN lol.
