I've been looking forward to reading this book ever since Renee Ahdieh announced she was writing a vampire story! Vampires in historical New Orleans. What is not to love about that premise!?
This book just sounds like it has all the perfect vibes, it sounds gothic and lush, romantic and also slightly sinister. I love everything that I've read by Ahdieh so far and I can't wait to see what she can do with some vampires!
I also love the added "serial killer" element to the plot. It sounds like the perfect plot for a spooky, atmospheric New Orleans setting!
And the cover is also gorgeous!
