When I started reading this book I was focused on the various girls and how they related to one another and where they were going. They did not seem to know one another. Two of the girls were sent to stay in a convent. I expect the story to follow both of these girls.
I don't remember what happened that made me know I was totally focused on the story. I could not read it fast enough. If I had posessed the actual book, I would have been reading all night. That doesn't happen to me very often. The description of the first murder was horrible. Based on what I read I expect this murderer will be around for a time.
