I loved the setting of the book. New Orleans is a beautiful city, and the author depicts the magic of the French Quarter near Mardi Gras time in a way that makes you want to read more. I loved the excerpts from the villains perspective. The first look at the book gave enough information but also enough mystery that I still want to continue the story to see what happens next.
