I like the tone that the story is setting within the first chapter. The story reminds me of aspects from Interview with a Vampire. I love the idea of a vampire story taking place in New Orleans. I felt connected to Celine as she reminds me of Audrey Rose from the Stalking Jack the Ripper series.
I also like that it implements the New Orleans culture with music, art, and history.
