Yes, this could be an actual guilty pleasure. First of all, I am in love with the jacket. The minimalist look does wonders for the dark tale this book contains. I also love the writing style, it's easy to follow without too many embellishements and the description is just enough. I especially liked the scene on page 7 when the mood flipped, like a light switch, from light-hearted banter to ominous followed by an abrupt chapter break. My mind was blown and the words 'I'm frightened too' were enough to send chills down my spine. I'm really looking forward to this book.
