I loved this historical romance twist on Beauty and the Beast. I'm always a fan of Beauty and the Beast retellings but don't often think they are well done. Thank goodness this definitely wasn't the case with The Beast if Beswick! Astrid might be my new favorite heroine and Thane was a great partner for her, I loved seeing so much of their relationship unfold in the page. The plot was fast moving and I thought the marriage of convenience trope was well written. The side characters, especially the nod to Lumiere and Cogsworth was fantastic. I'm a little hesitant to read the next in the series based on the plot but I'm definitely very very excited to pick up more work by this author! I highly recommend this book if you're a fan of historical romance, you enjoy a good Beauty and the Beast retelling or if you're just looking for a great book to get lost in!
