I love a good classic story retelling! As you probably have guessed this is beauty and the beast in a historical romance form! I won this raffle but unfortunately never received the book! So I ended up buying it anyways. Astrid was such a strong female lead and Nathaniel (Thane) was cruel and sweet. This book had me swooning with the sexual tension!!!! I loved the push and pull of the relationship! Also, this cover is absolutely gorgeous! I love a good grump hero that has a sweet interior. I still can’t get over their chemistry. Amalie did such a great job with the writing and I was sucked in from the very first page. I will for sure be looking for more books from this author in the future! I really enjoyed it!
