I am such a sucker for any kind of Beauty and the Beast retelling. Give me Young adult, contemporary or fantasy, but I will always hold a special place in my heart for Beauty and The Beast historical retelling! Enter The Beast of Beswick! This one did not disappoint. Once I got started, I was immediately drawn in to the characters, and I was hooked!!!
I was less sure about the sister, but in the end I was sold. While at first I had been surprised she was set to get her own book (again, at the time I had been less sold on her), I am now pleased to admit I am looking forward to reading her story as well!
Altogether, this was an extremely pleasing read and I’m glad I had the chance to dive into this one. I look forward to reading the next book in this series, as well as whatever comes from this author next. One thing is for sure: it is sure to be an absolute delight!
