There is nothing better to me than a good historical romance. I don't particularly know why I'm so in love with this genre but I am and this book did not disappoint me.
I'm not going to sit here and say that this isn't your basic historical romance and that you definitely have not read this story before because if you're not new to this genre you know what's in this book and you know how they get there and you know just how indulgent this is. So I'm assuming you already know how amazing it is.
I also loved the characters, even if I have read these kinds of characters before and nothing was really new I feel that the tropes that the author used were used well and it really just worked with the direction that the book was going.
Needless to say I'm pleased and will definitely pick up more from this author.
