I loved this Beauty and the Beast retelling. I judge a book by its cover, and I didn’t hesitate to request this book. I love regency romance and this book did not disappoint!
Nathaniel and Astrid’s banter was off the charts and I loved that despite Nathaniel thinking he was unlovable, it didn’t stop him from taking care and of Astrid and her sister. Even to the point of marrying the damsel in distress.
The character growth by both individuals in the story was written so well and it made the other person better as well. Great story for new readers of regency romance!
This book has it all- steam, intrigue, elegant regency balls, and so much tension that when it snaps??? Get ready for the pages to burn!!!
I started this book and finished it within two days. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
