I am utterly smitten and in love with this retelling! The Beast of Beswick by Amalie Howard had me captivated the entire time and I enjoyed every moment.
I love reading retellings and this is definitely one of the best I've read in a while. Howard's writing absolutely does not disappoint and kept me on the edge. The pacing is just right and the plot is engaging, well-written, and has a few surprises. I adore both Thane and Lady Astrid and rooted for them the entire time. I love the relationship between them and their interactions definitely has all the feels. I won't get into details but the tension and chemistry between them is swoony and I could not get enough.
I loved that Astrid is a strong heroine and Thane is perfectly flawed. Seeing them slowly realize how they truly feel about each other was so wonderful. The story ends beautifully and I honestly wanted more. Definitely one of my favorite reads and I can't recommend it enough.
