Beauty and the Beast is absolutely my favorite Disney movie. Belle has always been my favorite. I thought the writing style was great and I was pulled in to the story from the beginning. I loved this retelling of the classic and how the author made it come to life with her own story. As I was reading this it made me feel like I was witnessing the characters along with their settings. The author did a good job captivating the reader and keeping the story interesting. I would love yo read the rest of this book to find out what happens. I like the authors style of writing and will look at her other books. I would recommend this book even though I only read the beginning. There are lots of Beauty and the Beast remakes but this one is probably one of my favorites. I am not normally one to read historical stuff but the author did a good job making this book interesting and enjoyable.
