The Beast of Beswick encompasses so many of my favorite things - a regency romance, a strong female lead fighting for those she loves, and a brooding male who secretly has a kind heart.
I’m a huge Beauty and the Beast fan so when I heard that this story combined that along with a Taming of the Shrew retelling I couldn’t wait to read more. Astrid is not afraid to do whatever it takes to protect her younger sister, including offering herself to the Duke of Beswick who is a known recluse . I really enjoyed the interactions between the Duke and Astrid but there were some plot points at the end of the book that I wish would have unfolded a little differently. Still, I really enjoyed this story for a light and fun romance.
