I was fully absorbed in this book after five pages, and I did not want this excerpt to end so soon!
Astrid is a remarkably strong and self-conscious woman in a time women were just accessories to men. She will do anything to save her sister from marrying the earl that destroyed her own life. I am sure she will be a fighter for her sister‘s wellbeing, a strong personality who knows what she wants, and I am positive she will find love (and passion, hopefully) along the way. Great book for cold fall days and nights.
