Smashing Porcelain, Antagonizing Servants & Snarling, Oh My!
Pre-read: I just finished watching a Beauty and the Beast retelling so this is right up my alley.
Cover: The red is very eye catching and I like historical romance covers so I like it.
Story: I like the family issues (my prediction, possibly naive, is that the aunt and uncle are actually looking out for Astrid and her sister...thinking about it they probably are not at all...either way will be entertaining). We did not see our love interest this chapter and i just want to say I cannot wait for the messiness that will be when he comes (throwing porcelain, antagonizing servants, and snarling). This is probably wrong but i want Edmund to be the love interest because that will really be enemies to lovers (I see potential he probably could get a book later). I also think the story will be fun to compare to Beauty and the Beast although so far it can stand on its own.
