I grew up loving a good period piece but even I found this to be a bodice ripper version of beauty in the beast. It felt really dramatic? Where I’m a lover of fairytale retellings I’m not too sure I saw the potential in the short except of it leaning towards this topic. So far it’s a bit of a whiny main character and a dissed uncle.
