The cover caught my attention but not as much as I would like it to. The picture itself I think is too common of a book cover. The title grabbed my attention more than the picture. My first impression of the text so far has entirely grabbed my attention being set back in time in England when a woman’s voice was not worth at all of a man’s but you get to “hear” Astrid’s voice. Where the first look left off really left me questioning what’s next especially with it being a twist of a beauty and the beast type story.
