I like Astrid. She seems to be a tough girl during a time period in which that was frowned upon; she doesn’t seem the type to let the men make all the decisions. I wonder what Beaumont is planning to do, how he will settle the score. Im curious about these “sins” she committed and who the man at the end is. I like discovering the characters through the dialogue.
