A modern day telling of a classic, rolled up in the past

This is interesting: it's a retelling of Taming of the Shrew, set in the appropriate time, but with a modern feel. There are multiple contemporary expressions mixed into this book, probably enough to keep me reading (I hate a period piece). I'm hoping for some steamy love scenes.
