The Babysitter reminds me of an 80’s horror movie. It was thrilling and a little scary. Definitely a perfect Halloween read. This was a pretty fast paced book. I enjoyed all the characters, they were well developed and interesting. Jamie goes home to Look after her sister after their mom dies. An accident babysitting twenty years earlier left her sister her unable to care for herself. There was a twisty ending and not exactly who I thought the killer was. I do love a good mystery and I like it when I’m proven wrong. I really thought I had it figured out from halfway through the book. This was the first book I’ve read by Nancy Bush, I’m definitely going to be reading others by her, she might be my new favorite thriller author!
