I made it 100 pages in and I just wasn’t into it at all. The beginning is written like a YA horror novel (the old babysitter urban legend... kind of). But then it skips years and years and honestly, it just completely lost my interest.

I can into this thinking it was going to be like the urban legends about babysitters being stalked, but it was really just one babysitter and we didn’t even get to know what really happened - I’m sure it plays out in the rest of the book, but I just couldn’t keep going.

I felt terrible for Emma, who was the babysitter at that time. I didn’t like Jamie much, and Harley was just kind of... there.

I want you to know that I was thrilled to read this - it seemed like it was going to be so exciting. It just fell flat for me. More drama than creepy horror stuff.
