Thank you to Bookish First for gifting me this copy! I'll definitely be rereading this when Halloween gets near. It had all the spooky/creepy elements that I love in a thriller mystery.
Here is what I really enjoyed about The Babysitter. The setting is a small town where everyone knows everyone and everything. Including deep dark secrets. I also really enjoyed the time of the year in which this story takes place! Now, this isn't usually something that is important to me, however, this takes place before and around Halloween. Now, any book that takes place around Halloween I'm sold on.
I also appreciate when thriller mysteries make it hard for me to guess who done it and this was one of those reads. I really had no clue until the very end and trust me I went back to reread to try and find any clues.
