This book starts off with Jamie, the younger sister, babysitting twins. Her older sister, Emma is coming over to take over the baby-sitting job so Jamie can go to a party.
When Jamie gets home many hours later, the house is quiet so she tries to go bed but suddenly the phone rings letting her and her mom know that Emma was attacked and left for dead at the baby-sitting job. Their mom blames Jamie that Emma was attacked. Emma survives but suffers a severe head injury.
The book jumps between the past (when the attack happened) and the current time where Jamie is a mother herself. When her mom dies, she and her daughter move back home to take care of Emma. Emma starts talking about what happened the night of the attack and Jamie is drawn into solving this mystery.
This book has a great 80's horror film slasher feel to it. I can not wait to get to read the whole thing when it is released.
