Wow, This book reeled me in! From the very first sentence I just wanted to keep reading more and more. The characters are all very interesting, and are at all different levels of extra curricular high school activities.
Jamie had Emma come and relieve her from her babysitting job to go to a senior party, even though she was a sophomore. Emma was brutally attacked and is no longer the same popular cheerleader she once was. Jamie feels guilty and her Mother adds to this guilt. The attacker was never caught!
Jamie moves away and is living with her daughter after her husband dies. Both Jamie and her daughter get a vision of her Mother telling Jamie "To come home."
Emma calls to say Mom has died so Jamie and her daughter return to Oregon and her old life.
Emma says she has seen the guy who hurt her. He works at the Police building!
