Nancy Bush knows how to do a thriller right. She creates characters that we can relate to which makes for an enjoyable read. Jamie has definite effects from the events that she experienced in high school and the intense guilt surrounding the attack on her sister that may have been intended for her. Its hard enough sometimes to return to your hometown, but returning to care for her sister after her moms death brings up old feelings and new revelations about what may have happened that fateful night. I can't wait to read the rest of the story and find out how Jamie protects her daughter and sister while getting to the bottom of the years old mystery.
