This excerpt seems more mystery than anything thrilling or scary, but the story is very interesting. By chapter 2, I found myself questioning whether it was Cooper so I'm interested to see if it really was that easy to guess or if there was someone else who committed the act. I also like the element of Jamie having to interact with her old town and people she went to school with. Overall, I like the characters and think this would be a great read. I like the eyes on the cover, but I'm not a big fan of the colors overall.
