I'm not sure what to think of this one. I like the concept of this novel, there's something sort of nostalgic like an old-school slasher movie about it. And I got some of the feeling from the first look, particularly the "then" section of the novel. But I just didn't find myself getting that invested in the characters. Not as much as I would have hoped to. It was good, and I do like a novel that explores multiple timelines, but I didn't have that feeling that I wouldn't be able to put it down if I had the whole book in front of me.
