I didn’t dislike the writing but honestly the cover is what drew me.
I used to babysit A LOT when I was a kid to earn some extra money and this was a huge fear of mine. I was slightly intrigued by the writing, but it sounded more like a juvenile slasher movie to me. I still would love to check out Nancy Bush’s book though as a cover and just the short beginning can be completely deceiving.
