The only horror books that scare me are ones that I can see happening to me - since I'm 51, I think I can read this and not have that concern :)
This one sounds like a great one. I don't think any teenager alone with kids who she's responsible hasn't heard a creak or thump and had visions of a serial killer out there waiting to get her. I can only imagine the fear of that being a reality and then living through and with that nightmare for years to come.
